The M77, or Norwegian combat boots, are one of the most famous military boots in the world and also our number one hit. They are so legendary that they are even mentioned on the Combat Boots wiki page. So it should come as no surprise that the Norwegian media recently covered the story of a former soldier who got the M77 boots tattooed on his arm. Additionally, tech speaker and creator Morten Rand-Hendrisen reviews the M77 boots on TikTok, garnering over 400,000 views. He even calls them 'the best boots you will ever buy'.

The first M77 version was delivered to the Norwegian army over 50 years ago, and several NATO armies still rely on the M77 today, including Norway. The M77 took ten years to develop, as the Norwegian army had strict requirements for durability, comfort, weight and moisture resistance. It was also essential that the shoes were also easy to care for. The result is a shoe that is uncomplicatedly comfortable, breathable and water-repellent, made from only 2.8-3 mm thick full-grain leather, steel and polyurethane. The anatomical insole is shock-resistant, antibacterial, breathable and washable.

And most importantly, they are durable. Just keep your shoes well-oiled. As with full leather shoes, they can take time to break in, but once they are broken in, they are the best they can be. These shoes are unisex and designed for both men and women. They come in large sizes and are meant to be worn with thermal or even double socks. All in all, they are probably one of the best value for money shoes in the world , but we understand that they may not be for everyone.
